Ten Years Anniversary - A handful of stories that made me wiser and a few exciting awards

Ten Years Anniversary - A handful of stories that made me wiser and a few exciting awards

How to be a freelancer and survive

I started my studio in 2004 based on one simple principle: working outside the box (because thinking outside the box was so passé...). My instincts lead my little studio to projects often categorized as ‘niche’ or ‘boutique’ which are considered much more interesting and challenging. The need for depth and subtexts drove me to revolutionary branding works. I learned a lot on the way, sharpened the texts I wrote for my customers and my consultancies services grew bolder and fearless. I was called to create branding for large and established firms as well as for start-ups in their very early days. When I was called to consult regarding visual concepts of more amorphous products like books and films - I bungee-jumped into the projects. I took a deep breath felt the achievement when I branded a product that will solve a real-life difficulty share by half of the world’s population (still in stealth mode… sorry) My hunger to see my work grow and evolve made me take my work into the 3D printing era, and so a logo I designed for a certain firm became perceptible product. I felt submissively proud when I won my first award for branding an international academic research on pain and suffering. This year, with 3 awards on the shelf and list of ambitions to fulfill, my moments of fear are slowly vanishing as the desire to explore new territories takes over If you are in your early steps, here’s a tip for the road: Never give up. Jump as high as you possibly can. Over time you will learn that each jump was slightly higher and a new record was set. Can’t wait to break my last record and set a new one.
